Living in the Word of God is a pastoral letter written by our Archbishop Richard Smith.  In it the Archbishop speaks about the importance of the Word of God in our lives.  At the beginning of his letter Archbishop Smith writes about his own baptism.  He writes about how Pope Francis speaks of baptism and how Pope Francis asks people if they know the date of their baptism. In our lives we have struggles of all kinds, but at the centre of all we find the presence of Christ. He is not so much found in distant places but (as the Gospel tells us) he is found in the midst of the storm, in the midst of the struggle, in the midst of daily life. And that's why today we celebrate and thank God for St. Benedict Chapel.
